What types of food are helpful?
Hydration: Ensure adequate fluid intake to prevent dehydration, especially if the child has fever or difficulty eating.
Vitamin C: Supports immune function and can be found in citrus fruits, strawberries, and bell peppers.

Ingredients: Chicken breast, carrots, onions, low-sodium broth.
Directions: Cook chicken with carrots and onions in broth for a soothing, nourishing soup.
What are the traditional treatments?
Supportive care: Includes hydration, rest, and fever management.
Oxygen therapy: If breathing becomes difficult, supplemental oxygen may be provided.
Nebulized treatments: For wheezing, medications like albuterol may be given to open airways.
What are the natural and alternative treatments?
Honey: In children over one year old, honey may help soothe the throat and reduce coughing.
