  • Chronic kidney disease (CKD)

  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs) can sometimes cause blood in urine

What are the aggravating factors?

  • Respiratory infections (cold, flu, etc.)

  • High blood pressure (can worsen kidney damage)

  • Immunosuppressive therapy: Medications like corticosteroids or other immunosuppressive drugs may be used for more severe cases.

  • Dietary changes: Low-salt and low-protein diets to reduce kidney strain.

What are the natural and alternative treatments?

  • Omega-3 fatty acids: Found in fish and flaxseeds, they may help reduce inflammation and protect kidney function.
