  • Candidiasis(oral thrush)

What are the aggravating factors?

  • Sun exposure: Although mucosal melanoma is not directly linked to UV exposure, individuals with a history of skin melanoma are at increased risk.

  • Immunosuppression: A weakened immune system (e.g., due to medication or disease) can increase susceptibility.

What types of food are helpful?

What are the traditional treatments?

  • Surgical excision: Removing the tumor via surgery is the primary treatment.

  • Radiation therapy: May be used if surgery is not feasible or after surgery to eliminate remaining cancer cells.

  • Chemotherapy: Often used for advanced melanoma, especially in cases where it has spread.

What are the natural and alternative treatments?

  • Curcumin (turmeric): Known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.

  • Green tea extract: Contains antioxidants that may help prevent cancer cell growth.
